Thermal insulation castables are used for boiler linings and are generally used as thermal insulation layer linings. The operating temperature is generally 1000 degree . Insulation castables are divided into semi-light castables (1.0-1.8 g/cm³), lightweight castables (0.4-1.0 g/cm³) and ultra-light castables (less than 0.4g/cm³) according to volume density. Commonly used lightweight castables for thermal insulation castables have a bulk density of 0.8g/cm³ and 1.0g/cm³. Boiler insulation castables can also use lightweight castables with a bulk density of 0.8g/cm³ or 1.0g/cm³.
